Fish Report
The lower DSR has some salmon. Out in the lake the salmon are between 60 and 100 ft. of water. If we get A big storm and it may bring some fish in.

River levels came down to 500 fps. Upper part of river best fishing right now for steelheads.

The fishing has improved a mix of Browns and Steelheads are starting to enter the river.

A good push of kings and cohos went through the lower section of the river, the past couple of days.

Major run of Coho's went through the DSR. Some king's mixed in. Let's hope for some rain!!! See you on the river.

Fishing is slow. We need some rain!!!!!! water at 100 cfs and temp is 62. Coho's are on the move though.

Good amount of kings came threw the DSR. Fishing is better but need more rain. Water 100cfs and temp 66.

KINGS slowly making their way into the Salmon river, no run yet. Water level low 163 cfs and water temp 67 degrees..

Water still low at 185 cfs and temp. 65. A couple of KINGS spotted in the estuary and the DSR. We need some rain. They'll be running soon!!

Spent some time working on the house and checked out the Lake fishing. The Brown fishing has been great. The SALMON fishing has also been great, looks like it will be another great Salmon season. Take the time to call me and book early.

Had a great weekend STEELHEAD Fishing. We fished the Tribs, Trout Brook, Orwell and Skinner creek. Bait of choice was Berkly pink rubber worm, earth worms and Stone fly's. Fishing in the Salmon river and tribs should be good for a couple more weeks.

River is running high at 1800 plus run off. Tuff fishing but drift boats are catching a few steelies every day.

Friday was a great day for us, as you could see by the front page. Saturday not so good, but better days are ahead. Fishing should pick up with some colder weather and a good soaking rain. Still a great deal of fish at the mouth, waiting to enter the river.

No major run yet but soon!!!! My clients have been catching fish not in great numbers but we are catching fish. This weekend should be great give me a call and we will set you up with a great trip!!!

Still waiting!!!!! Estuary loaded with fish just need a push. Their are a good amount of fish moving in every day. Their was some coho's and king's moving in the lower section of the river. I'll be fishing the next couple of days, so hopefully I'll have more to report.

With a storm approaching fishing should be great next week. They are raising the water level to 315 fps and with the storm water we should get a small run of salmon. Some fish are being caught in the DSR.

We fished with The Lucky Dutchman and had some success. We caught 3 salmon and 1 brown. Picture of the guys with their catch on front page. Went to the hatchery just to nose around and saw one fish waiting to go up the ladder. Talked to some locals and they said their had seen some kings in the lower section of the river. It's early but it was nice to hear about some salmon in the river. The salmon out in the lake are not schooling yet but the fish we caught were starting to change their color. Waiting for the first run!!!!
